This house sits along side the beautiful Barrington River. The house has been constructed from local timbers and rammed earth with the timber frame windows.

The living spaces face the north, allowing plenty of sun in on the cold winter mornings. Generous eaves keep the summer sun and heavy rains off the walls of the house. The rammed earth runs as a blade through the middle of the house to create a wall of thermal mass, assisting in moderating the internal temperature.
